Modern technologies, tolerance and humanity, gaining popularity in all corners of the world, as well as the always insatiable interest in something new, gradually bring cultures and religions closer together, allowing us to discover fundamental similarities, notice and prioritize common aspirations and hopes.
For example, someone discovered a very important affinity between the ancient Indian deity Ganesha and Christ - they are brought together by chastity. In their essence, they are both created by the Creator and remain forever a divine child, pure and wise.
In my work "MYSTERY" I made a timid attempt to reflect this fundamental affinity by depicting a Mother with a Child in her arms, manifested in human form, who is carefully held in the arms of the god-child Ganesha, universal, unborn, unmanifested in the visible world.
Ganesha knows what fate awaits this Child in 30 years, so tears tremble in His eyes - true compassion and admiration for this tragic mission. He blesses and grieves at the same time, since He is unable to protect, demonstrating the omnipotence of divine chastity. But such is the Supreme Plan, which even He has no right to change.
