The water and slopes of the gorge are worked out dynamically: the river flows forward, and small waterfalls flow down the rocky cliffs. Green and yellow meadows on the slopes contrast with the dark shadows of the ravine, creating a sense of living nature and space. The painting is filled with light, and the variety of textured brushstrokes emphasizes the movement of the water and the complexity of the relief.
