Alexey Frolov-Bagreev was born in Moscow in 1995.
From childhood, he attended classes at the art studio and the Museum of Fine Arts at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts.
My last name, Frolov-Bagreev, is quite ancient, and I am a descendant of Anton Mikhailovich Frolov-Bagreev, a famous winemaker and the founder of the Abrau-Durso company.
I graduated from an art school with a degree in artistic painting. My creative beginnings in painting were influenced by folk art. Later, I studied at the Institute of Book Art. I also studied at the studio of the artist Irina Zatulovskaya. Working at the studio was a turning point in my creative development, allowing me to gain a new perspective on the art of painting. Currently, I work as a freelance artist, actively developing my artistic practice and experimenting with various materials and styles.
I live and work in Moscow and Abramtsevo, an old estate where many outstanding artists lived and worked in the 19th and 20th centuries.
