Born in Lyubertsy, Moscow Region. Studied at the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute, Department of Art and Graphics. The artist Igor Razzhivin is world famous! He is a member of the International Art Fund, a regular participant in Moscow, republican and international exhibitions, and began his active creative work in 1986. Over the past years, a stable circle of regular customers and fans of the artist's work has formed, and his works were exhibited not only at annual exhibitions in the Central House of Artists (Moscow, 1990-2016), but also at other representative venues: at the US Embassy (Moscow, 1985), at the international exhibition "ArtExpo" in Beijing (China, 1998), in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior (Moscow, 1998) and the Kremlin (Moscow, 2006).

During his visit to Japan on December 15, 2016, Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin presented Prime Minister of the Land of the Rising Sun Shinzo Abe with Igor Razhivin's painting "Russian Troika in Kolomenskoye". Today, Igor Razhivin is an accomplished professional artist who has been fruitfully working in the genre of urban landscape for many years. Each of the realist artists has his own method of work, his own way of searching for form, which primarily involves observing the surrounding life. Razhivin is a true poet of Moscow. Moscow is the first, main "heroine" of his paintings, Igor perceives and feels the capital as the character of his beloved woman.

Transparent or pasty, with a touch of decorativeness, Igor Razhivin's manner of painting is always easily recognizable, optimistic and attractive. The canvases that depict quiet streets and courtyards, temples and monasteries of old Moscow, captured by the artist at different times of the year, are traditionally especially popular with viewers. In their reviews of these paintings, visitors to the exhibitions often use the adjectives "warm", "cozy", "native".

In recent years, I.V. Razhivin has expanded the boundaries of his usual role. Now his creative baggage includes portraits, still lifes, compositions in the "nude" genre. The artist is constantly in search, closely and respectfully studies nature, constantly strives to enrich the expressive possibilities of his painting and, apparently, is not going to stop.
