In 1982 – member of the Union of Artists of USSR
In 2001 – achieved the title “Honored Artist of Russia”
In 2002 – won a prize of Kustodiev artist

The main directions of his painting are: historical landscapes (genre compositions) in the style of Russian naive art, realistic landscapes, still lifes, and surrealist paintings-parables.
