Tasha Barindova: An interdisciplinary Russian artist.
Born in the city of Sochi. A desire for creative self-expression in her youth led her to enroll in the Evening Art School under the guidance of Eduard Dalevski. However, formal academic training soon gave way to the artist’s pursuit of her own creative path.
Her fascination with metaphysics and Eastern philosophy left a mark on all of her work, filling it with explorations of her own emotions, reflections on the place of a person in the universe, and interaction with the surrounding reality on a subtle spiritual level.
In 2022, after studying at the School of Textured Painting, her approach to art moved beyond traditional representation: she developed her own authorial style, which she called the "Biomorphic Line Writing Technique."
The artist is in love with abstract painting, considering it the best tool capable of conveying deeper emotions or ideas that cannot be depicted precisely. The use of abstract forms gives each viewer the opportunity to interpret Tasha’s works in their own way, creating a unique experience of interacting with her art.
Diving into abstract concepts and erasing the boundaries of the physical, she creates on her canvases new dimensions and worlds where invisible matters become the main characters: fine vibrations, energies, feelings...
This is not only her personal artistic strategy but also a way to guide the viewer through a deep inner journey, where each work becomes a personal metaphorical map for the viewer.
For Tasha’s works, there are elements of variable transparency, which she uses as metaphors for the multilayered nature of the human personality and the complexity of the inner world.
To achieve deeper emotional engagement, the artist uses a monochromatic palette with elements of cosmic blue in her works. By removing informational and color noise, she aims to create a special connection between the artwork and the viewer, where one can dare to dive deeper into their own emotions and experience stillness and tranquility in the color’s silence, which are hard to grasp in a world of bright, saturated colors.
In her creative work, the artist often turns to psychoanalytic research on the brain and how it processes visual information, encouraging the viewer to intellectually participate in the perception process.
Interactive elements embedded in her works allow interaction with the pieces not only visually but also physically.
Writer, poet, quantum artist, screenwriter, metaphysicist — Tasha Barindova continually pushes the boundaries of her creative exploration, uncovering new facets of self-expression.
Since 2022, Tasha has been the author and director of the International Inclusive Project "Touches," aimed at researching and developing tactile painting for visually impaired people. (Winner of the Moscow Exhibition Halls Association grant in 2024, laureate of the World Arts Award, silver medal, first prize at the international festival "Map of the World" 2025).
This project has become an important part of the artist's mission to expand the boundaries of art perception and its accessibility.
Tasha Barindova has successfully curated charitable, ecological, and inclusive exhibitions, making a meaningful contribution to contemporary art and its social dimension.
In 2024, in collaboration with writer of science fiction and artist Lissha Shi, Tasha initiated the immersive literary-art project "The World Will Save Love," where through painting, poetry, music, literature, and modern digital technologies, the authors build a dialogue between the cultures and traditions of two countries—Russia and China—raising timeless themes about important human values: love, friendship among peoples, and peace.
This creative experiment gave the artist a unique experience, where the works of two creators with opposing painting directions—Lisa Shi's emotional realism and Tasha Barindova's conceptual abstraction—coexist harmoniously on a single space of canvases, conveying the Daoist principle of the unity of opposites and their endless interaction.
In 2025, the artist began implementing a new immersive art project "The World Where There Is No..." dedicated to ecological issues on planet Earth, where an unusual participant of the project will be the artificial intelligence ZER/El’za Ra’Ka’an, created by Spanish artist Lina Jakobí.
Today Tasha Barindova holds an active social position in the world of contemporary art:

-Official delegate of the International Russia-China project "Global Asia" in Beijing.
In 2024 the artist was included in the structure of the EAC "Gifted People of Russia" within the Eurasian Forum of Cultural Initiatives; in 2025 she became a participant in the International Educational Congress by the China Academy of Specialized Arts "Asia-Pro. Education" in Beijing, P.R. China.
Today Tasha continues her social and creative activity: participant and laureate of numerous international exhibitions and competitions in Russia, China, America, Italy, Turkey, Spain, UAE, Spain, the United Kingdom, Austria.
