Evgeniya Maltseva works in the style of expressionist realism in the metamodern concept.
Expressionism is one of the trends of the twentieth century, not only determining its evolution, but also associated with the rethinking of views on sacred and spiritual issues in art. Eva shows a fragment of the state of consciousness of a modern person through visual images.
She is a powerful draftsman with great academic skills, but she does not stop there, she goes further into the content and development of form. Evgeniya works with the human soul and embodies her searches, discoveries, internal psychological and energetic essence through the image of the body. She describes the state, living life through the flesh.
Evgeniya uses various techniques: painting, sculpture, graphics, and also came up with her own technique with wood, fire, woodworking with cutters and axes.
