My creative path began in childhood, with art school, which largely determined the direction of my future life and interests. I've always enjoyed graphic arts—pencil, ink, and Indian ink.
Sometimes combining, sometimes separating, traditional and digital art, I tried to find my artistic direction. After graduating from university, I began teaching computer graphics and design, expanding my perception of art. After some time, while examining Albrecht Dürer's engravings, I decided to try working in a similar style, combining ink, crosshatching, and pointillism—a style in which an image is formed using an array of dots. At the same time, while already in graduate school, I began studying the signs and symbols of bygone eras, which allowed me to add a little more meaning to my paintings and develop a unique worldview, expressed in a complex, multi-layered view of life and the various processes occurring within it. Conceptually, my art sometimes intersects with religion, as I am very fond of European religious sculptures.
My graphics are more than just finished works. They are an entire world—interesting, dynamic, sometimes complex, constantly expanding, and spiced with reflections on various themes. My goal is to visually reveal various aspects of human life—an interesting and sometimes challenging journey filled with various events, emotions, and experiences. I draw on various themes and images for my art, interweaving elements of world cultures and infusing them with sacred meanings and archetypal symbols.
Along with my various projects, in recent years I have participated in group and solo exhibitions in Russia, the USA, the UK, Canada, China, and Italy. I also have numerous collaborations and projects with renowned brands, musicians, and cultural figures.
