My name is Irina Rin. I am a student at Stroganov University, in the Painting Department.
I previously studied painting and drawing with master Russian artists.
I started drawing as a child, at school. And I remember always wanting to bring beauty into this world. At first, painting was just a hobby for me, and only later did I realize it was my life's work.
I am inspired by the sea and travel.
My paintings convey the emotions of this raging element. In my works, I want to express that the ocean is more than just water; it is a powerful force contained within us, and each person decides for themselves what emotions to release.
My paintings have been included in exhibitions in Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod:
"Vertical," "Velvet Season," "Autumn Vernissage," "Stroganov Traditions," "Etudes," and "January Holidays."
I won a competition and exhibition, taking first place in the 2024 Stroganov Plein Airs competition.
And I took third place in the international contemporary art exhibition and competition "Landscapes of Russia".
